Be sure to check the "Commission FAQ" section before attempting to commission me. Please bare in mind that the following examples showcase several different styles that I offer, but prices are listed for the base style. Please specify if you'd like one of my other style for your commission. For NSFW examples, please contact me.
When thinking up a design:
Thinking up a design is the most important part of a custom design! You'll need to plan a color palette, and decide whether or not you'd like to pay for any special traits. When choosing a palette, be sure to remember that light and bright colors are not acceptable for the main fur color, but are fine for markings. Please see design examples for clarification. Please also be aware that at this time, you cannot get a subspecies custom, or a custom with anything labeled as a mutation unless you're on staff, as these need to be fleshed out more before they can be publicly sold. If you have an idea for a trait, and it is not listed, please feel free to bring it up, and we can talk on price from there! You can also find a "Design Specifics" section on the form, which is where I would prefer you to put all extremely specific information. Keep in mind that overly specific design commissions may have an upcharge, since it gives me less freedom, and there's more pressure involved.
Physical traits:
Color Palette: (Please paste either the link to a palette or aesthetic image. I am usually not good without these specifics.)
Sex: (Male or female. For biological traits only)
Gender: (Perceived gender. Do they look more masculine or feminine? Or neutral?)
Traits: (Place up to 3 purchaseable special traits here! No mutations or subspecies)
Accessories: (Will always have a pendant. Keep other accessories realistic to the species)

Design Specifics:
- Anything hyper specific you want in the design should be detailed in a list format with each theme, such as: eyes, accessories, colors, ect.
- Each different type of detail should have it's own line.
- If you don't include it, the design won't reflect it. I'm not a mind reader.
- Feel free to add more than 3 of these detail bits. Get as detailed as you need!
Personality: (Important for posing and expression)
Type of Custom Art: (Colored sketch or Flat color)

NightMist Redesigns:
Interested in a major or minor redesign of your NightMist straight from the source? I offer these as well! Unlike customs, I cannot set a final price. Redesigns need to be quoted on the spot, and are usually based on the magnitude of the changes, the detail in the design, and how many physical traits the character has (Such as wings or other extra things I may have to draw beyond the basics) The prices may however be similar to a regular custom NightMist price. Adding a reference sheet will always add the listed amount to your commission. Please contact me if you'd like a redesign!

NightMist Redesigns:

Colored Sketch:
$35.00
Colored sketches are more messy than Clean Color, and often don't have clean line work. There may be imperfections in coloring as well.
Flat Color:
$45.00
Clean color is the more refined of the two options. The line wrk is done properly and the coloring is precise and neat.

Keep in mind that ALL NightMists come with ALL Standard Traits.
Irregular:
$4.00
Irregular traits are somewhat common, and can be seen on many NightMists, but are not standard. Please keep in mind that you may only use 2-3 traits total. These traits tend to come up on a regular basis for no particular reason.
Uncommon:
$6.00
Uncommon traits are somewhat rare, but are not unheard of. These traits affect less than the more common traits, but are still common to an extent. These must be purchased.
Rare:
$10.00
Rare traits are not commonly seen in the species. Some of these may be more common than others, but over all are not usually seen. A rare trait may pop up once or twice a year if that.
Very Rare:
$15.00
These traits are even more rare than those in the above category. They usually appear only once every two to eight years or so, and many of these are specific to subspecies. Or rather they seem to be
Legendary:
NOT PURCHASABLE
These traits are extremely rare and usually only present in extremely special NightMists, usually those with prophecies potential. These traits can pop up every century, but are often millennia apart.

Writing up and figuring out your NightMist's life and role in their society can be hard! I would be happy to help you write all of this up for a small fee! Anyone in the NightMist Discord Server can get this help absolutely free of charge!
Reference Sheets
Want your character to have a reference when they're designed? No problem! It's easy to add a ref onto your custom commission! These references will feature the initial design fullbody, and any additions that the ref tier includes. See prices below. These prices are added to the initial custom price, and are discounted from the normal price of my reference commissions to compensate.
Mini Ref Sheet:
One fullbody with a name box and color palette.

One Fullbody and one Headshot with Name, palette, Basic Info, and an Extra box. NightMist Discount has already been applied.

Deluxe Ref Sheet:
Generally includes two fullbodies (Can be the same, or may show differences), two to three Headshots (Side profile from one or both sides and a front profile), with name, palette, two Extra View Boxes, and one to two Bio Boxes. NightMist Discount has already been applied. If additions are required, they can be discussed and quoted accordingly.
